Antis - Ctr. Antis

Parallel - Ctr. Parallel

Antis and Ctr (contra) Antis are a special kind of aspects. They represent not some special angle between two planets but a symmetrical position in regards to different axes.

Look at the example below: the Moon makes an ANTIS aspect to Mercury and CTR. ANTIS  to Mars.

Antis aspect is when two planets are located symmetrically in regards to Cancer-Capricorn axis. I.e. these planets are  inclined to this axis at the same angle.

Ctr. Antis - is when these planets are located symmetrically in respect to Aries-Libra axis

In Timing Solution these aspects are denoted this way:

Parallel and Ctr. Parallel are the aspects corresponding to DECLINATION Zodiac.

Parallel is when two planets have the same declination, like the Moon - declination is 5 degrees North and Mercury - declination is 5 degrees North as well.

In other words this is just a conjunction in DECLINATION Zodiac, and you can define it this way:

Ctr. Parallel is when two planets have the OPPOSITE declination, like the Moon - declination is 5 degrees North and Mercury - declination is 5 degrees South.

In Timing Solution you can define Ctr. Parallel this way:

Look at another example that shows the planetary position in declination Zodiac:

Here the Moon and Mercury have the same declination - this is a parallel aspect. Mars has the same absolute value of declination but the opposite value - this is Ctr. Parallel aspect.
