Upgrade April 9, 2005
1) The interface (due to ability to work with Technical Analysis indicators) has been changed. You can read about it here http://www.timingsolution.com/Help/ts_inter.htm#Indicators
2) New Technical Analysis indicators added. Now you can use them everywhere (in Composite, Spectrum, Neural Net). As the example, I have created the Composite for Average Directional Index (ADX).
This is Composite Mars-Jupiter calculated for Dow Jones Industrial index (1970-2005):
As you see, when the angle between Mars and Jupiter reaches 120 degrees, the ADX index goes to 40% (these regions are shown on the picture). This tendency has been verified for three independent intervals.
According to Technical Analysis canons, the value 40 (and above) indicates the strong trend tendency (no matter bullish or bearish). Then the ADX decreases. So we can specify these zones as "... potential changes in market from trending to non-trending" (see more info here: http://www.stockchart.com).
In other words, we can state that when angle between Mars and Jupiter reaches 120 degrees, the coming trend change is quite probable.
