Timing Solution Classes

Introduction 

1) What is this software designed for? It is a decision making tool for traders based on alternative principles (other than Technical Analysis). Technical Analysis methods are applied only as an additional mean.

2) The main principle is - studying CYCLES. The word "cycles" is used in a broader sense than in our normal life. We work with:

• regular cycles (that are based on number; examples: the annual cycle, a weekly cycle, 5-day cycle, 72-hour cycle, 7 price bar cycle, etc.);
• astro cycles (that are based on a physical movement of the celestial bodies; examples: planetary phases, planetary gravitation, aspects between the planets).

3) Working with these cycles, analyzing and evaluating them, we are able to produce:

• simple solutions;
• compounded solutions (i.e., projection line).

Simple solutions are either illustrations of some idea or answers to some questions. Here is an example of the idea: the trend changes at Full or New Moon; you may find such a statement in somebody's book or e-mail. Is it true or false? You can check it easily for your particular stock/futures/index. You may not have any borrowed idea, only your own question as to whether your stock is going into 3% increase every 3months; or when Mars squares Saturn; or when Jupiter enters Pisces, etc. You will do your check and get your answers creating models with ULE, Spectrum, and/or Composite modules of the program.

If you train the Neural Net with your models, you will get a projection line for your specific financial instrument. It will be the compounded solution - as we combine here models and Neural Networking math. We are working constantly on the methods of evaluating the effectiveness and quality of the projection line and suggestions on trading the projection line. These issues are a subject of the Course #2.

4) What software do you need? Here I would like to add a few words regarding the difference between Market Trader (MT) and Timing Solution (TS) software. Both software are based on the same idea: application of astro events to the market analysis. The main difference is the organization of the computer memory. MT is more oriented towards financial astrology, the planetary positions are tied with Universal Time in MT. Thus, we can extremely quickly calculate planetary lines, angles (aspects) between the planets and many other things usable in financial astrology. However, it is very difficult to work with intraday data using MT. In TS, the planetary positions are tied with real price bars. This feature allows working with intraday data and makes the program more flexible while working with Technical Analysis indicators. Some pure astrological techniques (such as planetary lines, the angle and steps analyzer) are not available in TS.  The Timing Solution architecture gives us the possibility of creating the synthetic trading system based on astronomy/astrology factors and Technical Analysis as well, because Technical Analysis indicators are included into Universal Language of Events (see the additional tabs devoted to price events in the SuperSearch module of Timing Solution).

5) If you would like to get as much as possible from these lessons, you are required to do the exercises. It will help you to see your progress with the software and gives you necessary skills.

The modules will be discussed in this order:

• ULE (Universal Language of Events);
• Composite module;
• Spectrum module;
• Neural Net and the projection line.
