Installing Timing Solution Advanced version with the hardware protection (with the dongle)

If you are already a Timing Solution Basic user and already own the installation CD for Timing Solution Basic, you may updated it through the Internet.

This procedure consists of two steps:

1) Downloading the installation package;

2) Reprogramming the dongle.

Pay attention that you can do all these procedures through the Internet. The only thing you need to have is the dongle from the Timing Solution Basic.

Let�s start:

Download the installation file here:

You can do it any time you need it.

However, the Advanced version of the program will not work with the dongle that has been used for Timing Solution Basic version. You need to upgrade this dongle, and you can do it through Internet. You need to perform this procedure only once.

So after installation plug dongle and click �Programming Dongle� shortcut:

You will get the following window, click there �Next� button:

Now you will get the window with the long string. The only thing that you have to do is� sending this string to us through e-mail:

To make it easier, click �Copy� button to put this string into the clipboard, run your e-mail program (like MS Outlook), click the right mouse button there and choose �Paste�:

Send this string to my personal e-mail address: tarassov@rogers.com

During a day you will receive an e-mail from us with another string.

Run �Programming Dongle� once again.

Click �Next�:

Choose �Update part of memory �� (this is important!)� option there and click �Next�

Paste the string you will receive from us into this window:

Click �Next� to finalize this procedure.

Now Timing Solution Advanced is ready to work with:
